On Sale Thursday: British musical prodigy and Quincy Jones protege Jacob Collier, whom The Guardian calls “jazz’s new messiah,” will hit SPACE on September 21. Tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m.

On Sale Friday: Nashville indie-Americana duo The Saint Johns return to SPACE for a headline show this September. Nashville rock and roller Webb Wilder as well as folk songwriter Lucy Kaplansky return in October. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via evanstonspace.com.

Thalia Hall: A few of our favorite SPACE artists will head to our sister venue, Thalia Hall in Pilsen, this fall. Tickets for Joshua Radin on Nov. 8, The Weepies on Nov. 2, plus Rachel Yamagata and Lucero, go on sale this Friday. Among the other upcoming concerts that are on sale now at Thalia are Delbert McClinton, David Crosby, Rodriguez, Josh Ritter, Shovels & Rope and Billy Bragg.

Coming Up at SPACE: On Wednesday night, don’t miss the unique sound of one-man-band The Suitcase Junket. This Saturday, Denver rock trio The Yawpers are here with The Lawrence Peters Outfit. Next week, alt-country songwriter Cory Branan brings his high-energy show back to the club. And progressive bluegrass group Travelin’ McCourys are at SPACE next Friday with Nora Jane Struthers. Nashville songwriter Caitlin Canty will close out the month at SPACE with her show on Sunday, July 31.

On Sale Saturday: We’re excited to announce new shows going on sale Saturday at 11 a.m. via our box office at SPACE as well as evanstonspace.com. Beloved New Orleans trumpeter and vocalist Kermit Ruffins will be back with his Barbecue Swingers in June. 14-time Grammy winner Ricky Skaggs brings his all-star bluegrass band Kentucky Thunder to SPACE for two shows in May.

We’ve added a second night with folk songwriter Joshua Radin on May 4. (Radin’s May 2 show at SPACE is sold out.) Soulful Louisiana singer-songwriter Marc Broussard also returns to SPACE for two nights in May. Roots-rocker Paul Thorn is here in June.

Dustbowl Revival — named L.A.’s best live band by LA Weekly — bring their mix of old-timey jazz and folk to the club in June. Scottish indie-pop band Trashcan Sinatras will be at SPACE in May.

SPACE welcomes back jazz pianist George Winston in April. Chicago blues guitarists Nick Moss & Guy King will share a double bill this spring. And bassist Tal Gamlieli is here in June as part of the Israeli Jazz Festival.

This Week: Thursday night, Meiko & Marie Digby bring “The Hapa Tour” to the club. Boston songwriter Livingston Taylor is here for an early show Friday (7 p.m.), while Portland’s Shook Twins are here for our late show that night (10 p.m.). Only a few tickets remain for Saturday’s Chevere show. Blues guitarist Albert Cummings closes out the weekend on Sunday night.
