On Sale Friday: Lily & Madeleine, Nora Jane Struthers, Justin Roberts, Lee DeWyze
This week’s new shows go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via evanstonspace.com and ticketweb.com. Indianapolis sisters Lily & Madeleine bring their folk-pop harmonies to the club, with support from Shannon Hayden, on Friday, Oct. 16. Grammy-nominated musician Justin Roberts is one of the true all-stars of the indie family music scene. He returns to SPACE with his Not Ready for Naptime Players band for a special Halloween Party on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 11 a.m.
Nora Jane Struthers looks inward with autobiographical songs on her new album, Wake. Catch her with her band, The Party Line, on Wednesday, Oct. 21. Chicago native Lee DeWyze returns on Sunday, Nov. 29. The 2010 American Idol winner got back to his acoustic-folk roots on his most recent album, Frames. Unfortunately, the Pat DiNizio show has been canceled. But on Friday, Oct. 2, you can still see Freedy Johnston, a gifted songwriter whose lyrics paint witty, poignant portraits of life gone wrong.
