This fall, the SPACE calendar is brimming with incredible artists who have deep ties with the Crescent City.

On Sept. 8, WDCB welcomes New Orleans native Christian Scott to the club with his Stretch Septet. The innovative jazz trumpeter, who is the nephew of tenor saxophonist “Big Chief” Donald Harrison Jr., has just announced his new album, Stretch Music, which brings together jazz with hip-hop and indie rock. Scott, who attended Berklee College of Music, was even the inspiration behind the character Delmond Lambreaux on HBO’s Treme. Get your tickets to see this exciting contemporary jazz artist now!

And don’t forget to pick up tickets for other upcoming New Orleans shows at SPACE, including bluesmen Sonny Landreth on Sept. 10 and Eric Lindell on Sept. 11; zydeco master Terrance Simien on Sept. 13; songwriter Anders Osborne on Oct. 9-10; and supergroup New Orleans Suspects on Oct. 3.
