Alejandro Escovedo & Other New Shows On-Sale Now, Plus a Handful of Tickets Released for NYE Shows with Milk Carton Kids

We’ve got another batch of great shows going on-sale this week. SPACE is excited to welcome back Texas singer-songwriter Alejandro Escovedo on March 27.

Among the other new shows on-sale now are Milwaukee roots musician Paul Cebar and his group Tomorrow Sound on Jan. 24; Chicago singer-violinist Anne Harris featuring blues guitarist Dave Herrero in the Studios on Feb. 26; Network Trio featuring jazz guitarist Stanley Jordan, bassist Charnett Moffett and drummer Dana Hall on March 1; folk-soul band Birds of Chicago on March 8; and New York singer-songwriter Ari Hest on March 27.

Tickets went quickly for our two New Year’s Eve shows with The Milk Carton Kids, so we’ve just released a handful of General Admission seats for both shows. Click here to get them and act fast because these remaining tickets will not last long!

We’ve also just announced our inaugural Movie Night presented by Lagunitas on Friday, Jan. 2. We’ll be showing a double feature: The Royal Tenenbaums at 7 p.m. and Fargo at 9:15 p.m. Popcorn will be provided, we’ll have Lagunitas on tap and pizza will be available from Union. Free with RSVP!

This week, we’ve got some great shows before the holiday break: TONIGHT, blues guitarist Dave Specter mixes up his “Chicago Style” with former-Bob Marley guitarist Donald Kinsey in the “Adventures in Guitar” series.

Wednesday night, SPACE welcomes blues-rock collective Royal Southern Brotherhood, featuring Charlie Wooton, Bart Walker, Cyril Neville, Devon Allman and Yonrico Scott. On Thursday, Harry Shearer and Judith Owen present their “Christmas Without Tears” holiday special; and on Friday, we’ve got songwriter Patterson Hood of The Drive-By Truckers. On Saturday, our holiday show with The Empty Pockets is sold out!
